Mark van Eeuwen, Gigi Ravelli, Patrick M., Alex Hendrickx and Liza Sips have been added to the list of actors that play a role in the Dutch cinema thriller APP. That 2CFilm production company has disclosed.
The lead role is played by Hannah Hoekstra. In addition to the actress will also Robert de Hoog, Jeroen spitzenberger, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen and Isis Cabolet make their appearance.
The film, directed by Bobby Baker, is about Anna who is addicted to app 's, social media and her smartphone. After a night out is suddenly an app on her phone that knows more than her sweet. As one by one her friends also perish, she wants to but what like weather of that app.
The production is special because it is the first feature film in the world who uses a second screen. The viewer can then on his or her smartphone or tablet all sorts of extra information and movie scenes. In February is to see the movie in the cinema.

Amsterdam, March 7, 2013 – Netherlands is the first country in the world where it from 4 april is possible to see a feature film with second screen technology for on your own mobile. The specially developed application (APP the movie) is available from today in various app stores and through the links below to download for free. Will for the first time in three weeks the active use of mobile devices in the cinema are allowed. This is the contemporary thriller APP with golden calf winner Hannah Hoekstra, Robert de Hoog, Isis Cabolet, Liza Sips, Mark van Eeuwen and Gigi Ravelli.

The APP is the first cinema film thriller in the world which is supported by a revolutionary second screen application. Via the second screen follows the viewer in the cinema a parallel story line that on key scenes of the film on the big screen and a mobile device. The viewer will be surprised with intriguing pictures, sounds and extra movie scenes that are completely in synch with the movie and who are integrated in the optimal scenario.
