Mr. Kees Abrahams served as the President of International Production at Sony Pictures Television, Inc. Mr. Abrahams, who was formerly Chief Executive Officer of 2waytraffic N.V. and remains based in its headquarters, 2waytraffic's Hilversum oversees extensive portfolio or light entertainment formats including one of the most successful shows of all time, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and others such as Take It Or Leave It and You Are What You Eat in addition to successful SPT formats such as Dragons' Den.
He manages SPT's international production group, which has produced about 9,000 hours of programming in about 30 countries. He is also responsible for managing SPT's investments in several production companies in the U.K. and throughout Europe.
He was one of three executives who founded 2waytraffic in 2004. 2waytraffic's various portfolio has grown to about 200 formats, and after it was acquired by Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. Prior to co-founding 2waytraffic, he was executive director at Endemol International. Additionally, he was responsible for several mergers and acquisitions, as well as the interactive aspects of the blockbuster reality format, Big Brother. He trained as a lawyer after studying at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
